VACANCY ONLINE EDITOR/ CONFORM EDITOR (32-40 hours)

Would you like to work on the picture post-production of (international) feature films, documentaries and series for cinema and television?

As an online editor/conform editor you are able to independently take care of the image finishing of feature films, documentaries and series. Think of conforming the picture lock for the benefit of the color grading, designing titles, simple VFX work, mastering and making many different deliverables together with directors and producers. In addition, you will get the chance to work on (International) productions of a high level, both technically and creatively.

FeverFilm is, together with Posta Sound for Picture, one of the larger players that offer both Picture and Sound postproduction for cinema productions and TV series under one roof. It has professional studios and cinema stages including a 4K DCI grading stage and a large Dolby Atmos re-recording stage. You will join a close and cheerful team of quirky, hard-working colleagues who like to deliver a top performance and are crazy about film.

Job requirements / profile
Tasks:
As an online editor you are responsible for the technical finishing of productions after the Picture Lock:
-Conforming to Picture lock for color grading in both DaVinci Resolve and Assimilate Scratch
-Title design, placement of titles and other graphic elements
-Place subtitles
-Simple VFX and polishing
-Versioning in various languages
-Creating complex deliverables for cinema and television, among others.
-Devising the best workflows
-Research into the latest techniques and developments

Profile:
- You have at least 2 years of demonstrable experience as an online editor / conform editor and are used to working with directors or producers next to you.
- You have up-to-date in-depth technical knowledge of the post-production process for feature films, documentaries for cinema and television broadcasting.
- You are very precise, focused, calm and even under pressure you remain positive and solution-oriented.
- You are able to maintain an overview of various simultaneously running tasks and can work systematically in them.
- You communicate clearly and promptly to in-house producers about your tasks and their status.
- You fully master Davinci Resolve in the areas of media management, conforming and edit/deliverables.
- You are well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Avid Mediacomposer, FCPX and Assimilate Scratch is a plus.
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language and a good command of the English language, both spoken and written. (In connection with checking titles/subtitles in Dutch, there is no point in applying without sufficient command of the Dutch language).
- You have a higher professional education level of thinking.
- You live in the Amsterdam region.
