For an artistic short film 'The Traffic Light Man' I am looking for a number of ambitious miniature builders!

'The Traffic Light Man' tells the story of an introverted traffic light operator who falls in love with a girl and wants to ask her out. In an absurdist world, he must first overcome his imaginary relationship with her before he finds the courage to actually ask her out. This film is about loneliness, soulmates and the social aspects of life.

The world in which this film is set is a dreamy fantasy world, in a universe that runs parallel to ours, so there are things that we will recognize, but the people, buildings, objects and inventions have also developed differently than in our world. A lot looks different from toasters that may be triangular to the traffic lights that have to be operated manually from a small yellow box hanging above the road.

Inspirational films include: Brazil, Wes Anderson films, TreurTeeVee, The Truman Show.

What do we offer?
This project is first and foremost a passion project, but after shooting a proof of concept we want to apply for a budget for the full realization of the film.
