Fourteen years after her gender transition, Nicole has been looking for a partner for quite some time, but every relationship ends early. While her aging mother remains her greatest source of security, the film explores the role that close bond plays in Nicole's search for love, connection, and a future on her own.

This documentary explores a desire that many people recognize: the need for love and connection, while at the same time it remains daunting to fully bare oneself to another. Through Nicole, the film examines how safety, dependence, and vulnerability relate to one another. Simultaneously, the documentary shows a trans woman beyond labels and societal discussions, creating space for recognition in a universal story about safety, love, and connection.

For this graduation project, we are looking for someone who can operate the camera and contribute ideas regarding (the execution of) the visual style.

Job requirements / profile
- Demonstrable experience with the DOP role;
- Experience with documentary production is a major plus;
- No need for your own equipment, but nice.
