The project involves a trailer video for a small-scale festival in Middelbeers. We want to shoot a humorous video to kick off the campaign.

The trailer takes place in a Chinese restaurant. A guest enters feeling very hungry and finds himself in a unique, almost magical atmosphere. He takes a seat and orders various dishes from the menu, but soon discovers that he is repeatedly served special beers instead of food.

As the evening progresses, the atmosphere becomes increasingly convivial and descends into complete chaos. The guest keeps ordering new “dishes,” and the owner/waiter keeps coming up with increasingly creative ways to serve the beer, from normal glasses to the most unusual and crazy presentations. The evening flies by, and the clock ticks ever closer to midnight.

At midnight, the surprising conclusion follows: the guest wants to place one more order, but the owner interrupts him with the message: “Welcome to the year of the hangover!”

Mysterious and characterful appearance. Plays the strict yet deadpan owner/waiter who, with minimal dialogue and strong facial expressions, constantly provides the guest with new “dishes.” Good timing, expressive glances, and a feel for comedic non-verbal acting are important. No extensive acting skills required, but a natural, striking presence is.
