August, 1991 is an independent coming-of-age drama about growing up, first love, and the uncertainties that come with it. The story follows a group of young people during a summer in which friendships change, feelings are discovered, and reality does not always turn out to be what it seems.

For the role of Leonore (Luca's mother), we are looking for a female actor aged 38-50 (playing age 44).

Leonore is caring, gentle, and cares deeply about her children.

We are looking for someone who:
• Can act naturally and credibly.
•Can show emotional depth.
• Feels comfortable in an intimate, character-driven coming-of-age.
• Is available for the filming days.

Experience is welcome, but not required. We consider talent, motivation, and a strong connection to the character to be the most important.

Filming is scheduled between August 10 and the end of August.
