De film speelt zich af in 1470 en volgt een scout die alleen door de natuur trekt. In een poëtische en contemplatieve vertelling over dood, moraliteit, spiritualiteit, geloof en de menselijke natuur wordt zijn ontmoeting met een ridder en de daaropvolgende confrontatie een katalysator voor deze mentale worstelingen die hij bevecht.
De focus ligt dus, los van de vechtscene, echt op sfeer, emotie en een sterke visuele vertelling. Het is een narratief gedicht.

For an ambitious short film, I am looking for a producer and a Director of Photography to help bring this project to life.
The film is set in 1470 and follows a scout travelling alone through the wilderness. In a poetic and contemplative narrative about death, morality, spirituality, faith, and human nature, his encounter with a knight and the confrontation that follows become a catalyst for the inner struggles he is battling.
Beyond the fight scene, the film’s primary focus is on atmosphere, emotion, and strong visual storytelling. It's a narrative poem.

Ik zoek naar een producent die mij wil helpen met het regelen en realiseren van deze korte film.
Daarnaast zoek ik een ervaren Director of Photography, bij voorkeur met eigen camera. Qua cinematografie zal de film veel statiefshot (schilderij-type) shots hebben. Denk aan Barry Lyndon (toegevoegd wat inspiratie afbeeldingen). Maar ook gevarieerde, bewegende shots bij latere scenes.

Periode
De meeste shots moeten gedraaid worden tussen nu en wanneer de blaadjes van de bomen vallen. Dit komt doordat de film enkele flashbackshots bevat waarin sneeuw voorkomt. De rest van de film wordt juist bewust in contrast daarmee neergezet.
