sci-fi comedy short film: “Femke’s Final Complaint” (directed by Kanso Ogbolu).
The film is about an alien coming to Earth to eliminate the source of a galactic disturbance, which is a woman who is essentially a Karen (obnoxious, complaining woman).
There will be very cool VFX and explosions, but it’s also a lot more than that, as it’s really addressing why people can be so rude, how having more empathy might not be such a bad idea, and how people tend to blame others for their problems without addressing their own issues.
All of this in a 5-minute short film.
It’s guaranteed to be screened at the short film platform Shortcutz Amsterdam, since the project is already supported by them, plus I really feel it has a strong chance to succeed at Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam and many other international film festivals.
