The Last Starchild" is a short fantasy film about a girl named Imme, who lives in a world ruled by her mother, the Queen. Imme's father, a former bartender, is very ill and Imme is desperate to find a way to save him. The magical starlight trapped in the planet is the only solution. .

Imme sets out on a journey to find the star mage who could help her save her father from his impending death.

Imme's journey is not only about saving her father's life, but also about the fate of the entire planet. As she delves deeper into the heart of the world, she realizes that her choices will have far-reaching consequences.

Are you an experienced Director of Photography (DOP) and are you looking for a new challenge? Then this vacancy might be something for you! We are looking for a DOP for our graduation film The Last Starchild.

The film will be shot from April 23 to April 30 in Croatia and on May 2 and 3 in the Netherlands. As a DOP you are responsible for the visual style of the film and work closely with the director and the rest of the team to bring the story to life.

Functie eisen / profiel
-Het creëren van een visueel plan voor de film in samenwerking met de regisseur.

-Het bepalen van de juiste camera-instellingen, belichting en compositie om het verhaal te ondersteunen.

- Het bewaken van de consistentie van de visuele stijl gedurende de hele productie.

- Beschikbaar tijdens de opnamedata in Kroatië en Nederland
