For the short film with the working title: 'Ludo Leeft', we are looking for a VFX artist who would like to think along and participate in the film about a man who has spent his entire life climbing an endlessly long staircase, but realizes at the end of his life that he has not known happiness.

It will be a black and white film, with a sci-fi look in a special location with Escher-like stairs. The team working on the film is a combination of young passionate makers who, for example, have graduated from the film academy, but also professionals from the field, companies that, for example, won Oscars this year. A varied team in terms of experience.

What do we offer?
It is purely a passion project, together as a team we want to create a beautiful film where it applies to everyone, cast and crew, that unfortunately not much else is possible besides travel expenses, as much as we would like that ourselves, we unfortunately have the budget not for it.

Description
Someone with general VFX and compositing experience.

The location where we are shooting is a tower of about 40 meters high with stairs that crisscross the tower like Harry Potter stairs. We want to make the space and the stairs go infinitely higher using VFX.

2nd VFX work, which becomes a little more challenging, is 1 top shot where people have to stand in an empty room up to their knees in water, which is not practically possible at the location. The trade-off is whether to shoot on location and add the water in post, or shoot with cast in the water and add the space around it in post. Something we want to determine in consultation with you.

Those are the 2 main VFX parts of the film. The film is black and white and basically everything is shot with steady shots, which should make it a little easier.
